Soy Candle Care Candles, Incense & More's scented soy wax candles are hand poured by Puerto Rican hands. The raw material that I use is of the highest quality to obtain the perfect candle. They are made with cotton wick and 100% vegetable wax, mainly soybean that comes from soybean oil, making it a renewable wax. It lasts longer than paraffin candles and tends to burn more evenly and cleanly. The natural finish is Soy Candle Care. The natural finish is white with a soft and smooth texture (it may change color depending on the fragrance to be used). So that you get the most out of soy candles, I share the following tips: For safety and for a more efficient burn, we recommend not keeping the candle lit for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time. Preferably let the candle rest between 4 to 5 hours in a row and turn it back on. Preferably do not blow the candle to put it out, it is best to drown out the oxygen, for this use a candle extinguisher. To light it we recommend using wooden matches, for candles that are in long containers you can use a wooden stick to light it. Cut the tip of the wick each time you relight it, ideally having a wick about ¼'' long. If the wick forms incrustations due to combustion, it is also important that you cut it with scissors. ​ Blow out the candle until the wax has melted to the edges of the container, otherwise a tunnel effect is created and you will lose efficiency in burning your candle. Always wait until it is completely solid before turning it back on. Do not move the candle while it is burning, it can cause the wicks to smoke and you can burn yourself. Be careful when touching the glass containers, if your candle has been burning for a long time, they will get hot. Be careful, don't burn yourself! Soy wax is sensitive to heat, so never expose them to direct sunlight or high heat. If a layer of dust forms on the surface of the candle, when it is out, wipe it with a cloth to remove the dirt, being careful not to do it too hard so that you do not take the wax with you. Most importantly, never leave a burning candle unattended and do not leave it within the reach of children, pets, or near paper or curtains. Avoid being near drafts or objects that can catch fire. Están elaboradas con pabilo de algodón y 100% cera vegetal, principalmente de soja que proviene del aceite del frijol de la soja, por lo que es una cera renovable. Dura más tiempo que las velas de parafina y suelen tener un quemado más uniforme y limpio. El acabado natural es Cuidados Velas de Soja . El acabado natural es de color blanco con una textura suave y tersa (puede cambiar de color dependiendo de la fragancia a utilizar). Para que le saques el mayor provecho a las velas de soja te comparto los siguientes tips: Por seguridad y para un quemado más eficiente te recomendamos no mantener encendida la vela por más de 3 o 4 horas seguidas. De preferencia deje descansar la vela entre 4 a 5 horas seguidas y vuelva a encender. De preferencia no soples la vela para apagarla, lo mejor es ahogar el oxígeno, para esto utiliza un apaga vela. Para encenderla te recomendamos usar fósforos de madera, para las velas que están en recipientes largos puedes usar un palito de madera para encenderla. Corta la punta del pabilo cada vez que la vayas a encender nuevamente, lo ideal es tener una mecha de alrededor de ¼’’ de largo. Si al pabilo se le forman incrustaciones por la combustión también es importante que lo recortes con unas tijeras. Apaga la vela hasta que la cera se haya derretido hasta los bordes del recipiente, de lo contrario se crea un efecto de túnel y perderás eficiencia en el quemado de tu vela. Siempre espera a que se encuentre completamente sólida para volver a encenderla. No muevas la vela mientras esté encendida, puede provocar que los pabilos humeen y te puedes quemar. Ten cuidado al tocar los recipientes de vidrio, si tu vela lleva tiempo encendida estos se calentarán ¡Cuidado, no te vayas a quemar! La cera de soja es sensible al calor, por lo que nunca las expongas al sol directo ni al calor intenso. Si se forma una capa de polvo en la superficie de la vela, cuando esté apagada límpiela con trapo para quitar la suciedad, ten cuidado de no hacerlo muy fuerte para que no te lleves la cera. Lo más importante, nunca dejes desentendida una vela encendida y no la dejes al alcance de niños, ni mascotas, ni cerca de papeles o cortinas. Evita que estén cerca de corrientes de aire o de objetos que se puedan incendiar.
